  • Sam Jones, Hitting & Catching Instructor

    I grew up in Greenville, SC and attended Eastside High School. After graduation, I played for 4 years at Newberry College under Coach Russell Triplett. Following my time at Newberry, I spent 2 years at the University of South Carolina as a bullpen catcher under Coach Mark Kingston. While at South Carolina, I received a Master’s Degree in Sport and Entertainment Management.

  • Brady West, Hitting & Catching Instructor

    I am from Rockford, IL and attended Rockford Lutheran high school. I spent three years at Indiana Wesleyan University and two years at North Greenville University where I was a five-year starter hitting .323 with 50 HR and 66 doubles. In my college career I was a five time All Conference, three time All Region, and All-American player in 2017. In 2021 I started my Professional career with the Idaho Falls Chukars and over the past three years I have played with the Rocky Mountain Vibes and the Billings Mustangs where I have been a .280 hitter with 24 HR and 37 doubles.

  • Adam Hill, Pitching Instructor

    Adam was drafted in the 39th round by the Padres 2015 out of TL Hanna High School in Anderson. He was freshman All American at South Carolina in 2016. He holds the All-time Founder’s Park single game strikeout record with 14k’s against Charleston Southern and Clemson back to back weeks. Adam was the friday night starter at South Carolina 2018. After college, Adam was drafted in the 4th round in 2018 by the Mets. He was traded twice to Milwaukee and Seattle. Adam was in the 2019 Midwest League All Star. Adam made it up to Double A with the Mariners. Adam has 5 years experience in professional baseball.

  • Dylan Wolchik, Pitching Instructor

    I am originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I attended Florida Tech as a freshman and then transferred to Indian River Community College. I finished my career at Lander University where I graduated with a degree in Business Management and Marketing and was a two time All-American.

  • Landon Smith, Pitching Instructor

    Originally from Easley, SC. I attended Wren High school and now Anderson University where I am pursuing a career in physical education. While at Anderson, I played 3 years under Coach PJ Zocchi. I have a passion for teaching athletes and helping them achieve their goals and dreams.

  • Ranz Bodison, Hitting Instructor

    Originally from Mauldin, SC, Ranz attended Mauldin High School, where he won all region in 2011. Ranz played college baseball for PC, SMC and USC-Lancaster. Ranz is a military veteran, playing for the US military all stars during that period. Ranz also has professional playing experience with the Saarlouis Hornets from 2019-2021. Ranz has had numerous coaching experiences and currently is with the Upstate Mavz organization

  • Brian Mershon

    Brian Mershon played professional baseball in the Cincinnati Reds organization. Mershon has coached at all levels of 6 to 18-yr.-old baseball, and currently has two sons playing Div. 1 baseball at Ohio State and Mississippi State.

    Mershon provides high-level instruction in all phases of the game including hitting, fielding, pitching and throwing mechanics. He also provided ongoing consulting services for collegiate prospects as well as strategies for those players maneuvering in the new collegiate environment.

    Customized team and coaches camps and clinics are also available.

    Mershon has coached and provided instruction for more than 40 players who have advanced to the collegiate and professional levels.

    He has four sons who played, or are committed, to play Div. 1 collegiate baseball as well as three brothers and two nephews who played, or are playing, collegiately.
